Six Sulaman Warisan leaders quit party
TUARAN, May 6 (Bernama) -- Six leaders of Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) in Sulaman division Saturday resigned from all posts and quit the party to join Barisan Nasional (BN) after losing confidence with the party's true struggle.
They are Sulaman Warisan deputy chief coordinator, Madlin Rashid; Wanita chief, Rusia Mandis; Wariwati head, Zulianti Idris; Wira head, Amrin Normat; as well as Indai Warisan polling district centre (PDM) heads, Banalua Antoni and Saimin Merar.
All the leaders said the slogan ?Sabah For Sabahans? propagated by Warisan was not the real struggle of the party but was more towards the interest of an individual.
In a statement issued here today, Tuaran BN deputy chairman Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau said BN accepted the participation of Sulaman Warisan leaders to join BN with open arms.
