Sabah BN will seal victory in GE14, says Musa
PAPAR, May 7 (Bernama) -- Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Tan Sri Musa Aman did not mince his words when saying that victory would be BN's in the 14th general election (GE14).
He attributed his confidence to the staunch backing by the electorate at all the constituencies he visited statewide during the GE14 campaign.
"I am also very happy with our BN machinery which is doing a fantastic job."
"I did wonder about the overwhelming support of the people. But of course, the people of Sabah are intelligent and are nobody's fools; they are fully aware which party could secure their future, and of BN's track record."
"Other parties don't have a track record," he told reporters after a meet-the-people session here today.
BN Papar parliamentary candidate Datuk Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin, Kawang state candidate Datuk Ghulam Haidar Khan Bahadar and Pantai Manis state candidate Datuk Abdul Rahim Ismail also attended.
Meanwhile, Musa said the Keningau Urban Transformation Centre (UTC), Keningau Integrated Livestock Centre (KILC), Keningau Handicraft Centre and Pan Borneo Highway were proof that BN fulfilled promises.
"In my speech on Nov 15, 2015 when the Prime Minister opened the first UTC in Sabah, I requested for UTCs to be built also in other districts such as Tawau, Keningau and Sandakan."
"More so in the context of Sabah, which is so wide. Through UTC, the people would save cost and time in getting the services they require. Today that wish has been granted. He did not just listen, he granted it," Musa said at the opening of the Keningau UTC here today, by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Musa's speech text was delivered by BN Tambunan state seat candidate Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.
