Claim for Perak MB post shows DAP controls PH - Zambry
LUMUT, May 8 (Bernama) -- The disclosure by a DAP lifetime member regarding the party's intention to claim the Perak Menteri Besar's post if the Pakatan Harapan (PH) won in the 14th General Election (GE14) shows the party controls PH, said Perak Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir.
"What was said is serious because the person who said it was not just any person, but from the DAP itself," he told reporters after a special meeting with the Lumut parliamentary constituency's GE14 machinery here, today.
Zambry, who is also the Menteri Besar of Perak, commented on the disclosure by DAP's lifetime member Amran Ahmad who is also a member of the DAP's publicity team on the matter.
Meanwhile, commenting on the video featuring a talk by Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming on the opposition's candidate for prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad which has gone viral on social media, he said it proved the barbarity of the DAP leader.
The one minute 53 seconds video clip of Nga's talk, was uploaded on a Facebook account called 'Gerak Perak' showing the DAP candidate for the Teluk Intan parliamentary seat talking in Chinese but with Malay subtitles.
Based on the subtitles, Nga said Dr Mahathir would not live long and gave a message that DAP was using the help of the Langkawi parliamentary seat candidate to topple the BN government and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
