Rozman Isli retains Labuan for BN
LABUAN, May 9 (Bernama) -- Datuk Rozman Isli retained the Labuan parliamentary seat for the Barisan Nasional in the general election today.
The UMNO candidate polled 10,164 votes to win the four-cornered contest for the seat by a majority of 1,450 votes.
The other candidates were Noor Halim Zaini of Warisan (who polled 8,714 votes), Ahmad Junid Mohd Aling of PAS (1,555) and Siti Zaleha S.W. Ibrahim of Harapan Rakyat (925).
In the last general election, in 2013, Rozman won the seat with a 6,625-vote majority by beating Tan Sri Ibrahim Menudin of PKR (6,069) and Hadnan Mohamad of PAS (386).
