Aminuddin Harun clocks in as Negeri Sembilan MB
SEREMBAN, May 14 (Bernama) -- Aminuddin Harun, the state assemblyman for Sikamat, today began his duties as the new Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan.
Aminuddin, who is also Pakatan Harapan Negeri Sembilan chairman, arrived at the Office of the Menteri Besar at Wisma Negeri at 2.35 pm and was welcomed by State Secretary Datuk Seri Mat Ali Hassan and heads of department at the State Secretariat.
Aminuddin then went to the fifth floor of the building to clock in, and then shook hands and chatted with the staff at the State Secretariat.
He then had discussions with Mat Ali on the rules and management of the state government at the Office of the Menteri Besar.
This morning, he attended the opening of the Jempol District Police headquarters in Bandar Seri Jempol by the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir.
Aminuddin, who retained the Sikamat state seat for the third term, was sworn in as the Menteri Besar before Tuanku Muhriz at Istana Besar Seri Menanti in Kuala Pilah last Saturday.
Aminuddin, who was born on Jan 2, 1967, in Kampung Pachitan, Port Dickson, and his wife, Wan Hasni Wan Yusof, 48, have five children ? three sons and two daughters.
