10 Selangor state exco members sworn in today





KLANG, May 14 (Bernama) -- Seven new faces were among 10 members of the Selangor state executive council (exco) who took their oath of office before Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the Istana Alam Shah here today.

Among the new faces were three PKR assemblymen, namely, Haniza Mohamed Talha (Lembah Jaya), Dr Shaharuddin Badaruddin (Seri Setia) and Hee Loy Sian (Kajang).

Others who were also sworn in as state exco members were Ng Sze Han (Kinrara-DAP), Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud (Seri Serdang-Amanah), Izham Hashim (Pandan Indah-Amanah) and Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari (Selat Klang-PPBM).

Also present at the exco members' oath-taking and pledge of loyalty ceremony were Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin and Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah.

Meanwhile, the three old faces who have served in the previous term also made it to the line-up, namely, Datuk Teng Chang Khim (Bandar Baru Klang-DAP), V. Ganabatirau (Kota Kemuning-DAP) and Amirudin Shari (Sungai Tua-PKR).

The swearing-in ceremony was also witnessed by Shah Alam High Court Judge Datuk Mohd Zabidin Mohd Diah at the Balairung Seri in the palace at 3pm.

Also present were Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and Selangor State Secretary Datuk Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya.
