Pakatan Harapan will fulfill manifesto promises - Nurul Izzah

KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Bernama) -- Pakatan Harapan (PH) will fulfill every promise in its manifesto announced during the campaign for the 14th General Election (GE14), says PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar.

She said the duration for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's premiership should not be an issue as the PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had also pledged his support to Dr Mahathir.

"The people have high hope on PH and it is our duties to fulfill all the promises in the PH manifesto towards the people's wellbeing," she said in an exclusive interview with Bernama Radio here today.

At the same time, Nurul Izzah said Malaysia should have a strong opposition pact to ensure check and balance and the views of the opposition would definitely be taken into consideration as some of the policies introduced while they were in power were good policies and could be further improved.

She also said that PH members must continue reaching out to the people and paying attention to their needs, while at the same time, should remain relevant by providing the best policies for economic, political and social matters.
