Mohd Gazali is new Perak State Secretary
PUTRAJAYA, June 5 (Bernama) -- Datuk Mohd Gazali Jalal has been appointed as the Perak State Secretary with effect from today (June 5), said Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.
Mohd Gazali, who has been in public service for about 35 years, replaces Datuk Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan.
"He has wide knowledge in the fields of finance, land management and regional administration," Ali said in a statement announcing the appointment of Mohd Ghazali today.
Previously, Mohd Gazali was the Perak State Financial Officer and had also served as Kuala Kangsar District Officer and Perak Deputy Director of Land and Mines.
In the statement, Ali also recorded his appreciation and gratitude to Abdul Puhat on his contribution and deeds throughout his tenure as the Perak State Secretary.
