KOTA KINABALU, April 26 (Bernama) -- Following is the full list of the Barisan Nasional candidates contesting the 25 parliamentary and 60 state seats in Sabah in the 14th general election, polling for which is on May 9:


KOTA KINABALU, April 26 (Bernama) -- Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman of UMNO and the presidents of the four other Barisan Nasional component parties in Sabah except Tan Sri Joseph Kurup are defending their seats in the 14th general election, polling for which is on May 9.

MELAKA, April 26 (Bernama) -- The candidates of Melaka Barisan Nasional (BN) contesting in the 14th general election (GE14) are capable of garnering the two-thirds majority in the Melaka State Legislative Assembly on the condition all BN members are united in supporting the candidates chosen by the party leadership.


KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- Excellent cooperation and understanding between the Barisan Nasional (BN) federal and state governments has led Melaka to chalk up increased employment opportunities and per capita income brought on by rising investments and an influx of tourists.


We will not stop here. Our target is to develop Sabah, the land below the wind, till the pinnacle. So those claims that Sabah is the poorest state is a big lie.


Labuan, being an oil and gas and international financial hub, is heading towards a vibrant economic destination.


A leader like Datuk (Ab) Rauf is unable to contest but he is not angry and does not shut down the operations room.


Among the messages that were transmitted on social media included the method of marking ballot papers conducted by institutions which were not related to the EC and a video clip claiming that ballot papers could be taken out of from police stations by polling workers without permission.


The manifesto also pledged to continue with a more efficient land management and to intensifying the effort to protect the environment towards green economy.


Among the highlights are housing for all, entrepreneurship, development, education, skills and a green state.
