TANJONG KARANG, April 28 (Bernama) -- A Barisan Nasional (BN) supporter died of suspected heart attack this morning while waiting for the announcement of candidates for the Tanjong Karang parliamentary seat in the 14th General Election (GE14) at the Tanjong Hormat hall here.


Both candidates have expressed their confidence in winning the seat, when asked by reporters, with each one having their own advantages but it could tip in favour of anyone of these two political figures.


Khalid, who is Amanah's communications director, will be challenged by BN candidate Datuk Azhari Shaari, who is also Shah Alam UMNO division chief and PAS' Central Committee member Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marsuki.


Lim will be facing Lee Beng Seng of MCA, Koay Xing Boon of the Malaysian United Party (MU) and Datuk Huan Cheng Guan from Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM).

GUA MUSANG, April 28 (Bernama) -- Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is defending the Gua Musang parliamentary seat he has held since 1974 in a three-cornered contest in the 14th general election on May 9.


I find that all the constituencies will have candidates vying for the seats, (as such) there is no seat which has been won uncontested.
